Bookstore back office is an important part in Pasadena City College. It is where teachers and students buy their class material. Firstly, instructors send their adoption form to bookstore staff, let them know how much will be needed to order for the semester. Secondly, bookstore staffs need to order text books and collect all kinds of used books before the next semester start. The bookstore staffs need to check each used books, and then make a new price for each book. Also, the bookstore staffs sort the new and used books in the bookshelf. It is hard for bookstore staff to prepare before each semester starts. Finally, a good financial management is important to support bookstore circulate. They have to calculate each day total spending and profit. In short, bookstore back office is a small place; however it is important for the teachers and students.
